Pastoral counselors, pastoral care specialists and a variety of professional affiliates find that membership in AAPC provides them spiritual, theological and mental health resources through peer evaluation and supervision, conferences, and a variety of publications and interdisciplinary connections. The Southeast Region of AAPC holds an annual conference at Kanuga Conference Center in Hendersonville, NC. It is a time of fellowship and reunion as well as continuing education breaking the isolation that is so common to helping professionals.
